Invitation: Discover Your Biological Age!

Join us for a training session on Tuesday, April 9th, at 15:00 at Lykkens portal.Experience a 4 x 4 interval session to familiarize yourself with our new fitness app, assessing your biological age. Walk or jog comfortably for 4 minutes x 4 without pushing too hard.Let's optimize our training together!

The fountain of youth is physical activity

To become a robust employee, you need to train properly. And by properly, we mean you need to breath heavy. During this period, we'll teach you to prioritize intensity over quantity - and you'll feel the effects of it.

Myworkout has developed unique technology that can measure your VO2max and biological age with scientific precision - just by using a smartphone.

VO2max is the most precise health parameter we know of; more important than blood pressure, cholesterol and BMI combined.

The app tracks HIT minutes per session. If you are out of breath for more than 2 minutes, the app starts giving you HIT points. HIT improve your health and general performance. Research says that the best cardiac training is hard work that causes breathlessness, for 3-5
minutes, but not to exhaustion. The intensity of the workout is crucial for the effect of
the training.

Using our technology, the app measures your biological age accurately, and by following our recommendations - reducing it by around 7 years in 8-10 weeks, statistically improving productivity and reducing illness-related absences. This is science, backed by Messi, Ronaldo - and 30 years of clinical research on different patient groups!

Practical Challenge Rules

How do I collect HIT minues?
When you move outside, we only need you to start a 4x4 HIT interval where you walk or run according to the instructions from the voice in the app. Your capacity is then calculated based on GPS data and barometer measurements in your phone. When you are done with the session you can ask it to "Evaluate Session". Any other activity that takes place outside with walking or running that you choose to track with Myworkout GO will now give you HIT minutes, provided that your intensity is high enough.

Qualifying activities
The criteria for getting HIT minutes with the app is that you keep both legs moving and that you achieve a minimum of 85% of maximum heart rate. By connecting a heart rate monitor to the app, you will be able to get HIT minutes also for activities that cannot be measured via GPS and barometer. These activities include:Cycling, Cross Country Skiing, Swimming, Rowing, Cycling Indoor , Rowing, Elliptical Training, Step Training.

Replay with Jan Helgerud

Want to learn about the fountain of youth? How to burn a calorie? Or how to train like Lionel Messi and Ronaldo? Then this is the seminar for you.

Tips to get started: Start by walking uphill

If you haven't started exercising before, walking is the easiest way to get started. It keeps both legs active, which is important for the blood to flow through the veins via the heart in the most efficient way. When you walk at a faster pace or on uphill slopes, you may start to get out of breath. We would like you to enter this zone twice a week for approx. 16 minutes each time. If you do this for just a few weeks, your physical capacity will improve, which means you'll be able to walk faster and maybe start running.

*If you already enjoy working out and know how it feels to be out of breath, do your thing and log it in the app 🥳.
